About

Caleb

Financial modelling consultant · Singapore

I spent years building financial models for large institutional companies. The models decided what got funded, what it was worth, and when to walk away.

Most SMEs never get one. Founders make seven-figure decisions on six-figure data, with no model behind them. I build that model, scoped to what a 5-50 person business actually needs, one engagement at a time.

How I work

One principal. Direct accountability.

01

One principal

Me. No juniors learning on your numbers, no offshore handoffs, no project manager between you and the work. You email me, I reply.

02

Pay on acceptance

You see the model live before you transfer. If it doesn't pass your sniff test on the demo call, you walk away owing nothing. The build cost only lands once the model is in your hands and working.

03

Your file format

I build in Excel or Google Sheets — whichever your team already uses. No proprietary platform. No vendor lock-in. The model is yours forever, even if we stop working together.

04

90 days, then optional

The build is two to three weeks. The 90-day window after that is when I sit alongside you running the model against real decisions. Retainer continues only if you want it to.

What I won't do

Honest about the edges of the scope.

Knowing what I'm not is part of the offer. If your problem sits in one of these buckets, I'll tell you on the discovery call and point you at someone who actually does it.

Not bookkeeping. Use Xero, QuickBooks, or a part-time bookkeeper. I work from your existing books — I don't reconcile them.
Not audit or tax. Use a chartered accounting firm. I'm a modelling and decision-support practice, not a regulated assurance practice.
Not unlimited revisions. Scope is defined in writing upfront. I build what we agreed; changes outside scope are quoted separately.
Not 24/7 availability. One business-day response is the promise. Urgent does not mean midnight.
Not growth hacking, sales coaching, or marketing strategy. Finance discipline only — what your numbers say, what they don't, and what to do about it.
Next step

Fifteen minutes. No pitch.

If anything here resonates, the next move is a 15-minute conversation. We see if your bottleneck matches what I do. If not, I'll tell you who to call.
